Last time I checked, you're not Grendel and have no reason to expect people to accept such a low return.
Most people that are willing to accept sub 3% ROI on an investment are looking for something with very low risk and no effort that they can drop their isk into and forget about it. But you are offering 1.5% on a 3 week loan with less than ideal collateral requiring negotiation over it's value... which pretty much excludes you from that audience on every count.
Also, why are you comming to MD for this? Why not go to BMBE, VV or Grendel for a straight collateralised loan? |

Ethan Freeman wrote:The reason why we rather not use a third party is because of the cancellation options outlined in the original post. I'm not talking about using them as a third party, I'm talking about getting the loan from them. I'd recommend you end this failed attempt and just speak to Torn Soul (of BMBE) about getting a loan secured on your collateral. They offer weekly interest rates that are better than you are likely to get in MD.
Ethan Freeman wrote:If full collateral is given, then what difference does it make? In your case it's the difference between getting a loan and getting trolled.

I do not greatly care if NETG's intentions are entirely honest or a prelude to a scam.
I just find it mildly irritating that it's done badly.
There are plenty of examples of EVE businesses handled with skill, professionalism and drive... Somer, EOH, RF, One Stop etc
There are still more examples of EVE businesses that at least show something positive. Indeed many of the past failures at least publicly demonstrated the potential to achieve something prior to their collapse... EIB, EBANK, DBANK, ZZZ.
And we've seen many great scams over the years, assuming that you don't reject their qualities for some reason.
But this, whatever it is, isn't even a good troll.
May I ask that if you are going to maintain a presence in MD that you at least put a little more effort in to it? |

We have investors to pay. So you continue to show nothing to the public other than a questionable attitude. I hope there is some justification for choosing this path beyond what you have said, because on the surface it appears to be stubborn foolishness.
You can take it from a person who has had success on both sides of the coin, both as a legitimate EVE businessman and as a scammer, that good public relations and the correct management of your audience makes everything better.
It is far easier to generate a profit, both honest and otherwise, with a significant portion of the community on your side. If you play it right the community does most of the work for you, for free.

Also it takes considerably less effort not to be trolled than to be trolled.
